Red Shoes Presenting was recently crowned Queensland’s smartest company at the Redkite Corporate Quiz The corporate quiz is a key fundraising event for the national cancer support charity, Redkite.
The Valuable Work of Redkite Cancer Support Redkite supports children and young people through cancer by providing practical support to the whole family. Redkite’s essential services are available for families from the moment of diagnosis, throughout gruelling treatment periods and on the return home. These services include financial assistance, emotional support and education assistance. Emotional support within the hospital environment is provided through social workers and music therapists, and support within the community includes telephone and email counselling, facilitated telegroups, bereavement support and family days.
Children, young people and families from all major cities, regional
areas and remote locations in Australia are supported by Redkite.
Redkite receives no government funding and relies entirely on the
generosity of individuals, organisations and corporate partners to
provide vital family support services. |
